Good topics to write about on an essay?

Let me share this to you dear. Every time I feel like I wanted to write something, but does not know what about, I simply look at nature. I mean the sky, the clouds, but I most likely wanted to see the sky and the sea meet, that's the so-called horizon, right? Or probably write about what I feel about that moment or things that concern me from the past. Jot down what you feel and you'll feel relieved, you tried that, haven't you? If yes, then you know what it feels. But in an essay, it's better if the topic is given already so you don't have to think about it and just have to write everything.
