Have any US presidents ever committed homicide?
No, but put politely, Nixon resigned under fire. Close the Emergency Doors! ( of the Water Gate.)
Interesting question. In fact many Presidents MAY have had some black heritage. The first was Thomas Jefferson who claimed a heritage of an Indian mother and a Mulatto Fathe…r. The second in line would be Andrew Jackson according to a renowned American historian J. A. Rogers. Jackson's mother married a negro slave that became his father. His younger brother was later sold into slavery. Third in line would be Abraham Lincoln, the nation's 16th president. He served between 1861 and 1865. Another author: Vaughn, stated Lincoln had very dark skin and coarse hair and his mother allegedly came from an Ethiopian tribe. Fourth would be Warren Harding, the 29th president. He never denied his ancestry that we are aware of. Evidently, Harding had black ancestors between both sets of parents. He also attended Iberia College, a school founded to educate fugitive slaves. Yet another President may have had some black heritage. Calvin Coolidge, claimed his mother was dark because of mixed Indian ancestry. The idea is disputed by Auset Bakhufu, who said in her book that by the 1800s, the New England Indians hardly were pure Indian, because they had mixed so often with blacks. Coolidge's mother's maiden name was "Moor" and in Europe the name "Moor" was given to all blacks just as "Negro" was used in America. Sixth on our list is Dwight David Eisenhower who served from 1953 to 1961, the 34th president. Eisenhower's mother, Ida Elizabeth Stover was a mullato woman making Eisenhower part black Last on the list is our current President that is mixed race. Barrack Hussein Obama has a black father.
Yes, Reagan to the Queen of England.
There were rumors that Warren G. Harding may have taken his own life in the wake- or spillage- of the Tea Pot Dome scandal involving at base- an oil refinery. ( some things ne…ver change)- The Sinclair company was also implicated, but survived.
I don't believe suicide is legal anywhere in the the U.S.
The standard reasons for homicide are greed, lust, power, and rage. Serial killers may have other more twisted reasons far too varied to be listed. Mass killers are usually ra…ge and/or power.
Yes. Two US Presidents were impeached, and another probably would have been, but resigned before the House of Representatives could take action. President Andrew Johnson was… impeached for violating the Tenure of Office Act in 1868; President Bill Clinton was impeached for Obstruction of Justice in 1998. Both men were acquitted after their Senate trials. President Richard Nixon resigned in 1974 because he expected to be impeached after the US Supreme Court ordered him to give the Watergate tapes to Special Prosecutor Leon Jaworski.
President Hoover was an engineer qualified as a Mining engineer.
The following US Representatives and Senators committed suicide while in office: SC Rep. James Blair (1834), PA Rep. William S. Ramsey (1840), AL Rep. Felix Grundy McConne…ll (1846), KS Senator James H. Lane (1866), CT Senator Frank Brandegee (1924), IL Senator Joseph McCormick (1925), PA Rep. Samuel Kendall (1933), NC Rep. Joseph W. Ervin (1945), WY Senator Lester Hunt (1954), PA Rep. Douglas Elliot (1960), MD Rep. William Mills (1973), and NC Senator John P. East (1986). The majority killed themselves in Washington DC.
No........... One of the rumors floating around after Warren Harding's death was that he committed suicide to avoid impeachment and disgrace. However, it is more likely that h…e had coronary artery disease due to his unhealthy lifestyle, and medical negligence contributed to his death. There was a strange mix of folk medicine and evolving science during this period. Distinguished physicians often recommended smoking for their tense patients, so ignorance was a common occurrence in medical circles of the time. I am not quite certain how you define "drafted", but there were presidents who did not openly campaign for the nomination. Among these were Washington, Taylor, Pierce , Grant …and Eisenhower.
Humanity's first murderer killed his brother: Cain killed Abel out of jealousy because God favored Abel's gift to God more than Cain's.
Oh yes, Jews are no better (or indeed worse) than any other people.
