The breed standard for Siberian Huskies says male dogs should stand 21-23½ inches, and females should be 20-22 inches in height. Males should weigh 45-60 pounds, and females weigh 35-50 pounds.

That said, there are plenty of "non-breed-standard" dogs out there who are either larger or smaller.

It depends, on if the mom and dad were big or small. It's not how the breed is, its how its genes are, that's like saying humans are normally 6 feet tall!

Huskies are a medium size canine. There fur is thick making them look like a larger type but such is not the case. They do, however, possess stronger hereditary DNA than most dogs, making them wider in girth (more muscular) and stronger skeletons (notice the bigger paws and overall features). This is due to the evolutionary history of the breed--duty animals in the artic. They have strong personalities to match their strong DNA.

Huskey's can get pretty big, being the closest relative to the wolves left they can be about the size of a old Wolf, of course with age they shrink so an old wolf would be about 2 inch smaller then one in it's prime.

Well, guess it depends on how much and what you feed them! nutrients can be a HUGE role in how big a husky can get. I own a smaller, female husky, while my buddy has one that is a little shorter than me when he stands up! (6')
