To carry out sustainable farming, we can do it in different aspects.

1.Avoid using chemicals

We can replace chemical fertilizers by using organic fertilizers, such as dead plants and manure from livestocks, and replace chemical pesticides by growing spring onion and chili on farms.

2.Better use of farmland

-Crop rotation

Different crops use up different nutrients. Farmers can grow different crops each year so that the nutrients will not be used up.

-Mixed farming

Farmers can rear livestock and crop crops on the same piece of farmland.Livestock can provide manure as a nutrients to farmland and enrich the soil.

-Fallowing

Wjhen the farmland isn't in a very good farming condition, famers would leave it to reast to recover the nutrient again. This is called fallowing.

3.Better irrigation

We can use suitable amount of water for irrigation to avoid wasting water and making soil becomes salty.

4.Avoid developing marginal land

The production of marginal land is low, however it makes a seriously affect to our ecosystem so famers sould avoid developing marginal land.

Sustainable farming is based on two principles overall:

1) People have enough food

2) The farming activities will not affect quality of environment in long run.

While these methods are a wonderful goal to aim for, they are impractical to put in place wholesale across the US at this time. The citizens of the US and, indeed, the world as a whole, depend too much on the high yields we currently achieve. In a world with one out of every six people not getting enough food, we can hardly afford to cut yields. As more natural methods improve, and yields increase, they can be phased in without too much effect on the world food supply.

it is more susceptible in angriculture if we apply multi cropping method, through that we can earn money in a separate income depending on your variety of crop you want. Just make it sure that you love what your doing and you have time to spend for it.

How is industrial agriculture different from sustainable agriculture?

The modern industrial agricultural practices are constantly being modified to become more sustainable. The concept of sustainable agriculture is simply that it creates more benefit for the environment in general than it does harm. A good example of pure sustainable agriculture would be an organic garden which is tended only with hand tools. While this is obviously too small to feed the world's needs, it provides a goal for industrial agriculture.
