Open driver door. Remove plastic fuse panel at end of dash... You have to rotate it counter-clockwise, then pull. Find the 20a fuse and simply pull out. No need to disconnect horn from insde steering wheel pad which requires removing four torx screws near bottom of steering wheel, disconnecting the wire to the airbag then disconnecting the wire from the horn contacts.
There is no horn relay. The horn is powered by the TIPM (totaly integrated power module). check for power at the horn it self.
Th horn is located behind the passenger front bumper, near the fog light.
drivers side end of the dash, open the drivers door to get to it. There is a pannel. open it and pulld the fuse marked horn / radio amp
i would start by looking down at your hands...in the middle of the steering wheel
it should be just to the right of the passenger side fog light inside the front bumper.
Which one, the high tone or low tone?
i used my key on the passnger side door to unlock it and my alarm souned off i tryed unpluging the all the computers and battrey and the horn and the lights keep flashing i have no key pad .
The most likely common cause is a failed clockspring in the steering column.
Press the horn button repeatedly while feeling under the dash behind the steering wheel. (This will require some acrobatics.) You're looking for a small metal canister that clicks every time the horn button is pressed.
Take out the horn relay switch in an emergency. Without the alarm sounding off you can actually start to think...um...
There is a problem with the SRS. This is not a DIY repair. Severe injury can occur when working with the SRS. Seek professional help.
If your facing the front of the car, they are mounted on the front, over near the left hand side. It is jambed packed full, so you have to look close----they use a dual horn, so there are 2 of them. I think 1 of them is mounted on the front bumper.
