The most likely common cause is a failed clockspring in the steering column.
The Chrysler Sebring cruise control switch is located beneath the dashboard, on the drivers side. The cruise control switch should be labeled as such.
2004 sebring convertable cruise control not working - what to do?
The engine computer controls the cruise.
There isn't a separate fuse for the cruise. The switch has probably failed.
Not used. It is driven by the PCM
yeah... i have a 2007 Chrysler sebring, MY issue was a recall on the tire pressure sensors.... apparently they can cause a short circut and cause inoperative cruise control and engine stalling... Chrysler refuses to fix the car. at all.. if its not in warranty it wont get fixed for fre.. the recall number is H07 also you can go to the crysler web site to see if your vehicle is affected by this recall.
The cruise control is fed by the same fuses as the engine computer. If the car runs, it is not a blown fuse. The cruise control is fed by the same fuses as the engine computer. If the car runs, it is not a blown fuse.

You need too change the clock spring in the steering wheel. MY 2001 sebring had the same problem, changed it now it's ok. Horn and cruise control works now./
