You can get a yeast infection in a number of different ways. Taking antibiotics, drinking excessive amounts of alcohol, sugar, poor diet, stress, wearing wet or tight under garments for a long period of time, through sexual intercourse, during pregnancy, and also during your period. Basically, whatever is responsible for knocking your pH balance out of wack will cause you to get a yeast infection.
