It sounds like you need to adjust the thermostat on your water heater. Water heaters usually have temperature ranges from 120 to 150, and some even as high as 160.

To find the temperature control, look for a panel on the side of your water heater that most likely will need to be removed with a screw driver. After you remove it, you will see the controls that let you adjust the water heater to a highter temperature. If there are two controls, I believe you need to adjust the temperature setting on both of them to the same setting.

Some people keep the setting on their water heaters pretty low, but I prefer to keep mine up quite high. This way, there is much less chance of running out of hot water if several people need to shower because the hotter the water in the water heater, the less you use in the shower since less of it is mixed with the cold water, using less hot water.

Ans 2 Many modern shower valves have a moveable ring to set the hot water temp. Generally just a simple task of removing the handle of the shower valve and adjusting the ring.

Turn up the temperature on the heater. Gas or electric, there is a dial on the controls

Why is water hotter in kitchen and not in shower?

The kitchen is probably closest to the water heater and the shower is the farthest. Water cools down the farther it travels through the pipes.

How do I get the toilet to stop making the shower water hotter?

One of the easiest and least expensive fixes for this problem is to adjust the flow of water into the toilet. If the toilet fills more slowly, it will not alter the water pressure enough to change the temperature of the shower. Another possible solution, which would require the purchase of a special valve and possibly installation by a plumber, is to install a thermostat-controlled water valve in the shower to keep the water flow at a constant temperature.

What if your water heater has only tepid water first shower of the day the rest of the day it is hot Any suggestions?

A new hot water tank wouldn't let the water get as cold. Or you can get out of bed, turn the hot tap on, go back to bed for ten minutes, turn it off, go back to bed 10 minutes then go for the shower and the water will be hotter.

Why does the air inside the shower feel warm as the water vapor condenses?

It condenses because heat moves from high to low concentrations. The temperature of the water is generally hotter than the temperature of the bathroom. Therefore, the hotter water heats up the cooler bathroom air. -The pine lake prep chemistry meister strikes again!

When flushing toilet the water coming out of shower head get cold or hot?

This is not an uusual as when the toilet is flushed more cold water is drawn usually from the cold water pipe that suplies the shower with cold water so generaly the water under the shower gets hotter. The only way to stop this from happening is to lay an extra pipe all the way to the ater suply point, or fit a pump to maintain the presure
