First, you can buy one from someone that makes CMs (Custom Made Breyers).

Or, you can purchase a Breyer that looks (shape and position wise) like your horse or pony. Then you can buy pastels or acrylic paint, and some good brushes (not large ones!) and start painting! You can also use a very small and sharp etching knife, and etch a little paint off for a blaze or star.

A third option is to buy a blank mold and start painting it with the paints mentioned above.

The little girl wants a pony for her birthday?

First quesiton you should ask. Real or fake? Does she want a toy pony, or a real pony? Toy pony, pretty simple to answer. Real pony? Errr.... Ok, assuming your not a millionaire and you can't afford to buy a real pony or even know where to put that real pony, then there is an alternative. You can take her to a Equestrian Farm. To the little girl, we can pretty much assume she won't know the difference between pony and horse, unless she is really into them, then you kinda need to find a pony farm. But take her to a horse farm and get her riding. Not only is it fun for her, its also educational. Good luck getting through the pony phase.

A hand is what on Howrse?

A measurement of a horse/pony. This way of measuring is also used in real life and is based on an adult human's hand. It is 4inches or 101.6 millimetres. A pony is under 14hands 2" and a horse is above 14 hands 2"

What is the measurements for a small medium and large pony?

There is no real distinction between a small, medium and large pony. A pony is any horse that is under 14.2 hands tall. There is a distinction between small, medium and large ponies in the horse world. A small pony can not exceed 12.2 hands. A medium pony range in height from 12.2 to 13.2 hands. The large pony must be over 13.2 hands, but not more than 14.2hands.
