Texting is possibly more dangerous for teens because they generally lack the driving experience that adults have. This means that if a text message causes an experienced driver to make a small mistake, they may be able to correct for that elsewhere. If an inexperienced driver makes a mistake because of a text message, they may not be able to make up for it.
I think texting while driving is a lot more dangerous than eating while driving, although I have not seen the relevant statistics.

Our ads are meant to show teens the horrific things that can happen if one makes the decision to text and drive. Certainly these things do not always happen but they sometimes to. The goal is to pursued some of the youth to not kill themselves or their friends as they drive, but obviously you are not getting that message.
You only have one pair of eyes. You can not look at the road and the telephone screen at the same time. Driving is dangerous and needs concentration.
