We know very little about his personal life.
It is thought that Isaiah was a junior member of the royal family and hence served as a court official for for the various cousins who became King. He served them loyally, but was not afraid of telling them when they were wrong.
He was married and had two sons. The elder was named Shearjashub ("a remnant shall return") and the younger was named Mahershalalhashbaz ("quick loot fast plunder").
The great crisis of Isaiah's life was probably when the Emperor of Assyria besieged Jerusalem in the reign of Hezekiah. The Jews were not strong enough to fight the Assyrians so, under Isaiah's leadership, they drove them off with prayer.
All in all, Isaiah's life was relatively sheltered. Unlike some of the other prophets, he did not suffer poverty or persecution. Many of the nation's leaders took his divine messages seriously.
