Being an Englishman, i thought it might have something to do with high tea, don't you know, but apparently Tulsa is too uncouth (yes, i know you're going to look it up - you're American and i wouldn't expect you to know!) to have high teas.

As a guess, if Motown (Detroit) is called so because of the motor trade, is t-town so called because you are always '24 hours from Tulsa', so you always get there Tomorrow? or is it because of the Tampon industry? or does everyone there suffer from 'tourettes?'
