Winter's tail was caught in a crab trap. She had to have her tail amputated because it grew of infection, and due to blood loss.
Winter wears a prosthetic tail to help her swim and to prevent her spine from being damaged.
her tail got caught by a fishers net then it was infected to much and had to cut it off

yes she is still alive. she is 6 or 7 years old this year and the fake tail is helping her keep her spine straight so that she may live a nice long life.
Yes a dolphin can drown .A dolphin needs to breath every 10 seconds. If the dolphin gets stuck or damages it's tail it can't swim up . so it will drown . You should know this I am in year six seriously.
Yes, they live in climates with a winter season and lose their leaves as an adaptation to surviving over winter.
Dolphin have babies around the middle of the year in the moth July
No, because it only grows for one year. To be deciduous it needs to live for may years and lose its leaves in winter.
Most times, the average temperature in a deciduous forest is around 50*. This allows for a change of seasons. The animals in this forest adapt and depend on a change of seasons. If winter lasted an entire year, all of the plants and trees would lose their leaves for that year. This would cause the animals to lose shelter and cover they seek from these plants. Animals would also lose any food they depend on from those plants. SO, the animals in that deciduous forest would probably die if winter lasted an entire year.
we do not lose one day every leap year. on year is 365.25 days, so, every 4 years we add an extra day on which balences it out.
Dolphin trainers in the USA earn up to $40,000 a year.
im not sure the name but i know its not evergreen trees (because they last all year round).
Yes. They will lose them in the winter months, but should regrow in the spring. If not, I'd say the tree is dead!
No. Evergreens are what we call christmas trees. The name "evergreen" was given to these trees because they are always green year round
