they took advantage of innovations in sailing technolgy that allowed ships such as the caravel to sail against the wind.
Advances in technology, such as improvements in shipbuilding (like the use of caravels) and navigational tools (like the astrolabe and compass), helped explorers travel longer distances and more accurately map their journeys. This increased their ability to navigate unfamiliar territories, leading to the discovery of new lands and trade routes.
The main purpose of Bartolomeu Dias' exploration was to find a sea route to India by sailing around the southern tip of Africa. This would open up a new trade route and allow European powers to avoid the costly overland routes through the Middle East. By successfully navigating this route, Dias paved the way for future exploration and established Portugal as a major player in the Age of Discovery.
Landlocked countries like Switzerland were least involved in voyages of discovery as they lacked access to the open seas necessary for exploration.
A good historical question is open-ended, specific, and focused. It should prompt investigation, analysis, and exploration of the past. It also encourages critical thinking and can lead to a deeper understanding of historical events, individuals, or societies.
People who dig silver and gold typically work in mines or mineral exploration sites. These can be underground mines, open-pit mines, or placer deposits where the precious metals are extracted from the earth.
People need curiosity and a sense of adventure. They also need the resources and time to travel to different locations or try new experiences. Additionally, having an open mind and a willingness to learn from new experiences is essential for exploration.

Absolutely. Technology advances more and more everyday. It wouldn't suprise me if there was something new tomorrow. Keep your eyes open for changes! : )
Im going off this with what I know, no research was done, but google is a wonderful tool to do so...With advances in Space exploration/technological advances we might one day have a better understanding of how dark matter, wormholes were created. It has been said that traveling through a blackhole will open a paradox to the past, although we both know that any man traveling through a blackhole will automatically be stretched out like a spaghetti noodle. I possibly seem to think that with further advances in space technology we might even be able to accommodate advances in medicine, ie...maybe cures for certain diseases or illnesses. Ive read and seen on television that currently major corporations are designing spacecrafts that will one day have everyone in space and not just the mulit-millionaires. As technology increases the problems arise, but I believe on day the vast amount of space will be one step closer to being explored.
open yer eyes and you'll find out (:

Technology makes absolutely no difference. If the offense is a crime according to statutes passed by the state legislature then law enforcment must and will respond to it. The second question is MUCH too open-ended to address, without being narrowed down.
Open space technology is a way to allow people in any kind of organization to create meetings and events. In open space technology can conduct and create their own activities.
