His name is Fleance, he escaped when Banquo was killed
Banquo's heirs are prophesied to become kings. Macbeth tries to frustrate this by having Banquo and his child killed, but he fails because Fleance lives on to become the father of a line of kings
Not well. He says to the murderer, "Then comes my fit again . . . but now I am cabin'd, cribb'd, confined, bound in to saucy doubts and fears." He is afraid that Fleance will overthow him because of the witches' prophecy that Banquo will "get kings". He doesn't seem to remember that when it is Malcolm who is marching on him, not Fleance.
Macduff is the character who ultimately escapes death in Macbeth. He was not "of woman born" as foretold by the witches, and is able to defeat Macbeth in the final battle.
Macbeth is furious upon learning that Fleance has escaped, as he fears that Fleance may one day rise up against him as prophesied. To prevent this, he orders for Banquo's murder and tries to secure his power by eliminating any potential threats to his reign.
