It was really bad because Haiti is a really poor country so they didn't have enough money to make their buildings safer and in 2008 they had a bad hurricane so they were still… recovering for that natural disaster so lots of people died, i think its like 200,000 or something and they are starving and hurt and weak.
por74t au prince
children and adults were effected -correction- practically anyone and everyone in haiti, that answer is poo. :)
Earthquakes have occurred historically in Haiti. Widespread damage occurred in 1751 when a major earthquake destroyed Port Au Prince. This was repeated in 1770 when a major… seismic event again destroyed Port Au Prince and in 1860 a major earthquake to the east of Haiti generated a Tsunami More recently, a magnitude 8 earthquake struck to the east of Haiti, in the Dominican Republic, in 1946.
Death, loss of homes, injuries
It caused the movement of tectonic plates which is related to land
Port au Prince and surrounding area
the dust and chemicals from the collapsed buildings have gone into the air and they can pollute it and cause illness among the people and animals
We had to send food, water, doctors, etc... which costs alot.
Uhhh there was an earthquake & lots of kids lost their homes & parents, some of them very little, may not having siblings. It's actually very sad. Some of them didn't even die… of the earthquake they died of hunger.
