A person can ALWAYS benefit from someone telling them the truth about something they did that was wrong. Believe me, it's better than someone not telling you. Someone who was very dear to me turned their back on me, wouldn't speak to me, caused me to lose my job, and kept other people we both knew from speaking to me and I never knew why. I did nothing wrong that I knew of. When I asked why, no one would ever tell me. It's very hurtful and it always stays in the back of your mind.
