Jacob is surprisingly happy at the end of "Eclipse". Bella and Jacob share a passionate kiss releasing Bella's true feelings for Jacob. Bella is very confused as now she knows she loves Both Edward and Jacob. But In Breaking Dawn, when Bella conceives Renesmee, and soon after her birth Jacob imprints, Bella, Edward and Jacob are seen as just friends. Jacob and Bella no longer feel anything besides "best friend saga" It is truly a happy ending.

I, personally, am on Team Edward. But, some people have different thoughts on that. I do, however, feel very sorry for Jacob. He is really nice and kind to Bella, and in Eclipse, a lot of people feel that way. I personally would have picked Jacob instead of picking Edward and never growing, because Jacob can calm down and become human again to age himself. But, Edward, he can never become human, and me, if I were Bella, I wouldn't want to be stuck at a certain age forever. But then, I would pick Edward because he is so protective of Bella, but then, that's the thing. Jacob at least let's Bella have fun.

He returns home to Billy and Billy tells him that they received a wedding invitation. Jacob reads the note Edward included in the invitation and he can't stand it. His broken heart and grief for Bella is too much for him to take. He phases to his wolf form since the wolf form does not feel pain the way his human form does. Jacob starts running and chooses to keep running.
