Water is moved to the top floors of high buildings via pumps, which lift the water in stages. We may also see check valves, which prevent the water from flowing back down the pipes. The pumps will be placed at intervals up through the building so that one pump doesn't have to develop all the pressure necessary to lift the water all the way to the top. The lifting of the water is done in stages with pumps.

I spoke to the one paint dealer I have confidence in and was told yes I can do exactly that i.e. put a latex (not sure about alkyd) two part epoxy coating over my concrete latex floor paint. First I sanded the surface to get a better bond and my next move is to clean the floor. As a suggestion be sure you have a concrete paint on the floor. If not you could have other problems which I encountered originally i.e. paint not adherring to the concrete in the presence of water. USE ARMORGUARD EPOXY FLOOR COATING, It will last forever, its 100% Solid, No fillers, ODORLESS and NON TOXIC, Its also made with MICROBAN to prevent mold, mildew or algae, look on www.ecosmartepoxysystems.com for more information
the weight of the water above. water in a 1" pipe 100' tall is 43 psi @ base of pipe. water in a 50' tank 100' tall is 43 psi @ base of tank. h x .434 = psi
That would depend on the temperature and is this fresh or sea water? About 305.72
There are three main temperature scales in use: degrees Celsius, degrees Fahrenheit, and Kelvin. Of these three, the boiling point of water at STP is 100 degrees Celsius.
The measurements could be anything, but if you want to approximate dimensions the height could be about 10 feet per floor so a reasonable hieight would be about 1,000 feet tall. The floor plan could be 100 feet by 100 feet.
That will depend entirely on the size of the stories in the building. And many buildings have a first floor that will have a 15 to 20, even taller first floor. Also, most buildings have eight to ten feet worth of height from the A/C units, elevator and water equipment on the roof. If you go with ten foot floors (eight foot ceilings and 2 feet for the flooring, support and environmental services) you would have 300 feet vs, 100 meters (328 feet) so the difference would be 28 feet. If your first floor is 30 feet, 8 feet of equipment on the roof and your even.
Although some would say that few buildings have a floor 13 because of superstition, this is not really the case; far more have a floor 13 than do a floor 50. Only one has anything from floor 120 upwards (the Burj Dubai with 162 in total; its nearest competitor is the ICC in Hong Kong with 118); only 10 or so currently have a floor 100.

Any levels of the building below ground level are normally considered basement. In larger buildings they are sometimes referred to as sub-levels.
I am sure there is. Was that the question?

Mumbai has around 800 high-rise buildings, defined as buildings with a minimum of 12 floors or a height of 115 feet or more.
