How do I deal with the fact that my brother hated me so much that he had to leave the entire family so he could go to a boarding school to get away from me?

- Young men such as your brother come to a point in their lives when they are half boy and half man and he is confused and feels he needs some space from family and that includes you. You are second guessing the reasoning of your brother leaving the family and going to the boarding school and it could be because he feels suffocated with the 'whole' family. Young people say and do things to each other that hurt and one of the favorites with many siblings is 'I hate you.' In time, your brother and yourself will mature and there is no doubt you will mature enough to become brother and sister again. Be patient and don't put the whole blame on your own shoulders. Give him a couple of months and then write him or email him and let him know you love him and miss him.
