The wiring inside a wall is generally thicker than that of a lamp cord and is designed to carry more than the circuit breaker can carry on the circuit. This is a safety factor designed by the electrical code to prevent in wall or ceiling electrical fires. So long as the lamp cord is unplugged from the receptacle and the breaker has been tripped to the safety off position you should have no issues.
Now if the home is older with fuses you may want to check the wall for warmth, and check to see if the fuse is blown. Standard house hold wiring is either 14-2 or 12-2 wire including ground wire, designed to easily carry up to 20 amps of current without failing or causing a fire.
The standard house hold branch wiring is only set for a maximum of 15 amps per branch well within the safety limits of standard NMD wiring. But if you are concerned and need to get some sleep tonight, flip the breaker for that circuit off for the night and rest easy. If all is well tomorrow (which it should be) you can reset the breaker and carry on with life.
dead battery, or a bad ignition control module inside the distribureator.
global warming
No it wont. The heater core is just a small radiator inside the cabin that when the fan is turned on heats the air. A bad heater core will cause you to have no heat inside or will leak coolant on the carpet.
The two most common sources of home fires are small heaters and fires that start in the kitchen during cooking. Another common cause is faulty electrical wiring. The fires that cause the most deaths start from carlessness with cigarettes.
it can cause a fire if a house get knocked down and the electrical break a fire can start
Can only be: no petrol or an electrical fault = flat battery, no spark, electrical short, bad wiring.
they can because bad contacts can cause arcing which can ignite combustible material near by.
To start something gently. Usually used in an electrical context, a soft start avoids a large current surge at startup that might cause damage or pop a circuit breaker.
possible electric system short
Battery, starter, fuel pump, ignition, computer,................
First the parents start searching twigs and small branches, then puts the eggs inside.
An Electrical Short Cut somewhere would cause it to blow the fuse. A pinch wire would ground the system, and cause a shortcut.
