Bacteria do not breathe as such. Breathing is something that lungs do and since bacteria do not have lungs, they do not breathe. However the purpose of lungs is to absorb oxygen into the bloodstream. The oxygen taken in by the lungs is used during cellular respiration to create energy and gives off carbon dioxide and water as by-products. Bacteria do respire, it is how they get their energy. Not all use oxygen and glucose, other chemicals that can be used are chlorine or methane.
Bacteria don't "breathe." I guess that the closest thing to breathing would be taking in nutrients, which they do through phagocytosis (a cell taking in a solid), pinocytosis (a cell taking in a liquid) or diffusion (of either dissolved substances or liquids).
they breathe chlorine
if im correct, bacteria breath chlorine
They don't. Viruses are not alive, so they have no means of living. They do, however, have a means of thriving in an environment, and that is through the host cell. Once a virus inserts itself into the host cell, it can manufacture more of itself, thus passing the nucleic acid to its clones.
First of all bugs cannot breathe. ''They are really pumping gas," "These tubes, called tracheae, connect to tiny air holes in the insect's outer coating. For decades, scientists thought air just passively oozed into those holes. Then researchers spotted some tiny air sacs near insects' wings, legs, and abdomens that they might use to help pump air inside. But the rest of the insect body is rigid, so no one thought much more air pumping could go on. Instead, Westneat discovered insects somehow squeeze the air tubes throughout their bodies to suck air in and out, much as lungs do." Credits to http://ipm.osu.edu/trans/013_242.htm.
viruses are knows as connecting link between living and non-living as they only show one characterstics of living beings i.e. of reproduction and that is also when they infect and living host and reproduce inside that host cell by taking over its nuclear machinery.
welll the particles could pass through the cell membrane whichs selectively permeable and it will let the oxygen pass through
Mitochondria are responsible for cellular respiration.
They can still breath the oxygen in the air unless they're under a slide. In that case, they're dead or they don't breath oxygen.
They do not have systems. They breathe through diffusion.
yes
Micro-organisms are in and on him.
no not all micro organisms feed on dead organisms only
Micro-organisms affect every facet of our lives. From disease to digestion, nothing we do remains unaffected by micro-organisms.
Micro Means extremely small, we can only see micro-organisms in a microscope, Every Living creature has micro organisms on and in there body! even humans possess micro-organisms, such as bacteria, fungi and a virus, we all have these.
harmful micro organisms can make animals sick but not harmful micro organisms can help them.
Micro-organisms are in and on him.
Micro-organisms are in and on him.
micro organisms can kill you by causing diseases
no not all micro organisms feed on dead organisms only
micro organisms are very tiny, invisible to the naked eye
Micro-organisms affect every facet of our lives. From disease to digestion, nothing we do remains unaffected by micro-organisms.
Pathogens are disease-causing micro-organisms, such as viruses and bacteria

micro organisms are use full because they produce gas
Micro organisms refer to microscopic creatures, such as bacteria. Humans are not among which.
you can find micro organisms every where
But I need this because I have a Science Life test Review and I can't answer {what are photosynthetic micro-organisms?}.
