More people per car --> less cars on the road --> less energy usage.
instead of two cars and two people traveling any distance. One car with 2 persons is lighter than 2cars with one each. pollution exhaust is produced in the amount of energy to carry weight any distance.
It uses less gas. It still does use gas, but it doesn't use as much as it would if everyone on earth had a car.
It won't realy save earth as transportation amounts to 20-30% of CO2 pollution or so. But it can help. You have to realize that the pollution caused by the making of the car is very important. By using a carpool, you need a lesser amount of cars. Using carpools might also induce people into relying more on public transportation which would then also reduce the amount of fuel used.
yes, car pooling reduces the amount of pollution in the air
by taking care of it and preserving the means of the resources made.........
Fluorescent lights are not helpful in preserving natural resources. It is an artificial light made from products using resources from the earth.
conservation
Stop using them.
More people per car --> less cars on the road --> less energy usage.
environmentalism
Carpooling reduces greenhouse gas emissions in the atmosphere. These are causing global warming, so carpooling by a few individuals is a small step. Carpooling by thousands would be much better, of course. Slowing global warming will mean that the winter sea ice, that polar bears rely on to catch their prey, doesn't melt so early at the end of each winter.
The cheapest way to get to work for my self and 2 friends is by carpooling.
This is because they wanted Americans to save gasoline and rubber for the war
Recycling and conservation are sustainable practices in regards to preserving natural resources. Both practices limit the amount of resources being used.
This law will help to preserve the old forests in the national parks
Using natural (renewable) resources is NOT preserving nature - that is what the marketing people want you to believe. They call it land management.
