Many cats enjoy playing with jingle balls, drinking straws (with supervision), catnip toys, feather wands, very large jingle bells, milk rings (the ring that comes off of a milk gallon), very large pompoms, and film canisters, all of which can be found at most stores. I do have a very small container that i fill with uncooked rice (about 1/3 filled) that they love to roll around with (be sure the cap is on tight). Do Not give them yarn or loose string to play with, as they can choke or ingest it. They also enjoy playing with large crumpled up pieces of paper or tin foil - but be sure these are big enough so that it wont fit in your cat's mouth, as once again, they could choke. Have fun with your cat and be careful in choosing the right toys! my cats like playing with fluffy things and thing that move around. :)
Squeaky toys or balls of wool
I recommend yarn if funds are an issue. Tying a bell or feathers to the end could add to the cat's interest level. You can also purchase many cat toys similar in design. Something that makes a little noise, such as a rattle or bell, and is an appealing texture for the cat would be best. A handle could help in keeping your hands away from the claws. Also, if your cat likes scratching things up a bit, get a scratching post or rug for them to demolish, and praise them for playing with it to help keep them away from your furniture.
This is really going to depend on the cat. Every cat is different and will prefer different toys over other. Some favorites include:
This greatly depends on the cat. Many cats, when in playful moods, greatly enjoy chasing and attacking toys, such as ones on string and a stick, toys filled with catnip and even laser pens. Lots of cats love attention and loved to be played with and petted.
Other cats just like to sit around really like being petted or just eating cat treats. Some prefer to be left alone.
It really depends on the type of cat and its mood at that time.
It depends on the cats personality. Some cats will play with almost anything. (ex. yarn, strings, tags, hairbands, etc.) You could get fake mice, or any type of cat toy to see what your cat likes. then you will know what toys to get more of.
Well just with cat toys really, balls of string, dangly things, ive got a cat toy which is like a little reindeer with a long fluffy tail and a bell and the neighbours cat loves it!
Cats can play with toy mice, yarn or string, cat laser lights, and small balls.
They mostly like playing with yarn.
Just like the cats like the lasers toys there are some dogs that also like the laser toys as well.
All cats love feathers. All cats love birds. All birds have feathers. All cats love feathers. Thus we humans have invented feathered cat toys to ensure that the species of birds does not get extinct.Feather toys are a great way to entertain your cat and protect birds from being eaten alive at the same time. All humans are different, so are cats. This is why there has developed a great variety of great feathered cat toys much to the enjoyment of our little tigers.
Cats are very individual about what toys they play with.
Cats need a safe place to live where they will not be in danger, and they need enough food and clean water to drink. Other than that, cats like a place that has lots of interesting things to explore. You can build or buy cat "condos" with tunnels and rooms for the cat to climb in and out of, or you can rearrange your house to change things around. Toys are also a good idea for a cat - both toys that it can play with when you are gone, and toys that both of you play with. Cats also need socialization with you - time when you play with it and pet it and talk to it.
They don't.. Dogs act like dogs and cats act like cats.
Maine coon cats like to play because they like humans and they love toys especially balls which make sound when moving, mouse toys, fishing toys and wacky toys.
There are various reasons that cats like toys with bells in them, including that they like the noise. Most toys that have bells inside are made so the cat can bat them around and they like being able to move as they play. Not all cats like this type of toy.
They will play with most small toys, their prey, or at times with other cats and dogs.
Well you can buy them some toys and just play with them. Cats don't know any games.
Just like the cats like the lasers toys there are some dogs that also like the laser toys as well.
They like to play with cat toys or with anything unusual. Very curious so they like to get into things.

Yes they do but sometimes , because of age , lack the enthusiasm of a younger cat .
