Cheetahs communicate using a series of bird like calls or squeaks. The main time when you see cheetahs communicating is between a mother and her cubs or when they are growling at a rival.
like a normal cat. Ears flatten and hisses when ready to attack
Cheetahs chirp (in much a similar way some birds do) to each other to communicate. One example, mother Cheetahs will chirp after they've taken down prey like a gazelle in the wild, to signal to their young that it's time to eat.
well, i think the lions may warn off cheetahs or announce themselves in some way, because there isn't much reason why. if a lion wants a cheetahs new meal, it'll take it. an injured cheetah is a dead cheetah. hurts the leg, cant run. hurts its tail, cant use it to maneuver. knocks out a tooth, gonna have more trouble grasping prey. almost anything hurts its ability to hunt. it needs to hunt every day to stay alive because it burns so much energy hunting and running. anyways, so a lion will eat a cheetahs prey if it wants it, and might even kill the cheetah too. but i dought either just randomly communicate. they don't have much reason too, considering they are enemies. the cheetah does do its little "eeh!" call, but it accidentaly attracts lions. just because its a cheeta sound and it might mea a meal. hope i helped!! :)
Cheetah's vocalize by vibrations of their vocal cords in their larynx. This is controlled by several muscles within the larynx that can tighten and loosen these folds. As air passes over the folds from the lungs, they vibrate creating sound. Cheetah's are capable of yipping, purring, barking and growling. They are unable to roar.
With a variety of purrs, growls, meows, chirps, ear movement, neck fur, face gestures
They communicate through scents (they're solitary animals and leave markings throught their territory), body language and vocalisations when there is an encounter.
