Here are your options: - by train: a direct link between the two cities exists. Trains leave each half hour. Tickets to be bought on the station, in-train buying brings a big penalty! Travel time is 2,5 hours. (link: www.ns.nl/en/) - by car: The A2 motorway connects Amsterdam to Maastricht. Travel distance is around 200 kilometres (125 miles), travel time depends on the day and time: during weekdays it can be very busy. Normal road conditions without congestion: 2,5 hours. Travelling during peak hours: 3,5 to 4 hours. Good luck and a safe trip!

There are direct trains from Brussels to Amsterdam. They pass via Antwerp, and it takes about 2 hours to get in Amsterdam. Find the Brussels North, Central or South station, the train passes in all 3 of those.

you can get to a/dam cental station by two ways well 3 if you include a taxi but i wouldn't recommend it far to expensive. When you arrive at schipol and come to the main hall in the airport you will see signs for the train it is down stairs in the main hallway. And you can reach central station in 15mins. you cant miss it. Also right at the front of the airport there is a bus station where you can catch the bus straight to central. there is a number of buses that go to the city centre and you can see a bit of the country along the way. But if your like me and just want to get into the city asap well the train is by far the fastest. Everytime ive used the train getting to a

and from the airport ive never paid no body has never even asked me to show/buy a ticket. Anyway eithier by bus or train and you cant miss any of them both are right there at the airport eithier downstairs in the airport for the train(my choice) or out front for a number of buses. takes a bit longer but youll see more along the way.
