I got into a very serious argument with my parents. they have hinted at me moving out and even asked me twice. they wouldn't make me come back considering they would rather it be just them and my little sister. i have a place to stay and have a way to get the things i need such as cloths because if i leave i wouldn't be allowed to take my things. i am 16 will be 17 in about 1/2 a year i am able to take care of myself even though my friends mom is taking me in if i chose to move out. Yes i have done things to make them mad. but nothing they haven't done. and i just need some advice on what to do WHEN i move out maybe how i tell them or what i can do to make them less angry my mom and stepdad have said if i leave not to look back so i wont be able to talk to them bacause they dont want that but how should i move out. just go home with my friend after school? have her pick me up after telling them? have her pick me up THEN tell them? i really need help on this

What I would like to say is that you need to think it again and again before making a decision of moving out - living alone can be so hard most especially for youngs. Do not make a decision when your emotion is at high - it blurs your mind to think and make the most appropriate decision. If you really want to move out, there is no better way of doing it than talking to them sincerely, calmly - a good parting time can make you relieved from the feeling of guilt.
