With care and love. They teach them not to be afraid, if there is no banana near.Also they teach them, how to avoid bigger and aggressive monkeys without being afraid (again) etc. The main point in the new age of raising monkeys is to teach the youngs them not to be afraid. :)
Taking care of offspring is a time and energy consuming undertaking. If an animal produces many offspring there is little need to care for them all.
