I'm what you'd consider a scene kid so lets see if I can help(:
I straighten it so its super straight and I use a gel to protect it and help it be more....Straight? haha
So after that I separate my long layers from my short layers and I tease it like crazy
Teasing is brushing it bakwards so it sticks straight up and I spray the back of it with hair spray and gently comb over the top so its poofy but not flat and then if you have extentions you have to tease the hair around it too
I like to add a bow sometimes or something cute like that(: Good luck(:
Of course not.. Being scene is all about being unique.. You can do what ever you want with your hair.. Sometimes its better, even if all the other scene kids out there are teasing their hair, to not do it.. so that you are not conforming with the 'scene stereotype' :)
Yes you do most people see "Scene kids" Have to do with a big part of their hair. The hair is really want tells you they are "Scene."
he is a scene king for black scene kids and a hair fashion icon
Scene kids are known for bold, wild hair colors. The most popular scene colors are ebony black, platinum blonde, blood red, bubblegum pink, bold purple, and sky blue.
well assuming you are talking about emos and not scene kids, then no you dont. They normally have black hair with blond highlights in the fringe or bangs. but if you are talking about scene kids, then that is something different. they normally have blond hair with bright highlights or coontails.
A lot of the scene kids I know, basically all of them, go to shows almost every week. Scene kids are often confused with emo kids, but they are different. Most scene kids wear skinny jeans, neon colors, bandannas, etc. A big trend among some scene kids is myspace. A lot of scene kids have layered hair, some have extensions or coon stripes.
Either "Black or Dark Purple
They are called coontails.

To get the scene look you need bangs, so go to your hairdressers and ask them to cut a side fringe in for you, or a full fringe which is also quite scene. For a quick fix just use a pin tail comb to part your hair to the side, imagine an invisible line running from the middle of your eyebrow up to your hair and use that as a guide.
Scene hair is choppy layered hair that can be short or long.
You can be scene, all you have to do is straighten your hair and tease it.:)
