This is what I had to do on my 94 Silverado 1500 Truck:
1. Remove the lens cover
2. Remove the light assembly from back of the truck cab
3. Unplug the wire connector, by stretching out the clip is on the side of the connector body. (You may not need to do this step)
4. Take a piece of Popsicle stick or small sliver of wood & push out the plug-in bulb from the back while you are pulling out the bulb from the front of the bulb socket.

Most likely the fuse is blown for the dome light on the Silverado if the light doesn't come on.
the power source
replace the relay under the hood Also check brake lights switch had the same problem switched bulbs and worked fine
Not necessarily. They can be brighter, or less bright. Both the energy saving light bulbs and the old-fasioned incandescent light bulbs come in different powers.
The 2006 Jeep Liberty rear tail light lens does not come off. The tail light is seal. You can access the tail light lightbulb through the back of the tail light, in the cargo compartment.
you got to replace to light bulbs
I'm assuming that the vehicle is equipped with a push button shifter for the 4 wheel drive and the light doesn't light on the switch? If so, about 90% of the time it's the switch group itself. If the light were to come on and then blink (indicating that the front dirrerential isn't engaging) the you start looking farther forward. If yours has the floor shifter, there are actually bulbs under the graphic to the left of the shifter. The shifter cover will come up and you can replace bulbs as needed from there.
I can assure you that light bulbs come in many different shapes.
Visible light wave sources. Light bulbs and stars are good examples.
Look in the trunk. On the inside of the trunk where the tail light is, you'll find some...probably 4 plastic nuts. Sometimes they're duisguised as cargo net anchors. Just unscrew them, the tail light assembly will come out so you can change bulbs.
There is argon in light bulbs so the filiment doesn't does combust. However the gas doesn't come out of the bulb unless you break it.
this light is switched on at the headlight switch.when on, it will also come on when you open the door
