It depends on the whale. Blue whales for instance suck in a bunch of sea water that has crill (little shrimp like creatures) in it, then forces the water out with its toung while the crill get caught in something called "baleen" which is like a huge filter (imagine pouring water through an air filter...its something like that. Other whales like orca's (killer whales) have teeth and east seals the same way a person eats food..although there is little chewing, its more like ripping the seal into peivec it can swallow.
a whale eats krill by blowing a bubble net and catching it whales eat krill by sucking in water and filtering it through their baleen, when the water goes through the baleen, the krill get filtered out, then the whale swallows the krill and gets rid of the water
Some whales are filter feeders, which means they take large gulps of water and use a special organ in their mouth to filter anything out of the water, which they swallow. Others are carnivores and hunt for prey like fish, seals, and penguins.
they open there mouth and suck all of the water in so they can eat plankton. humpback whales swallow water along with krill and prawn the size of a thumb
Humpback whales have baleen plates. They eat by straining their food through these plates.
Krill. Like from finding nemo :D
It eats krill.Krill is little tiny fish that whales eat. :)
they have very low acid levels in their stomach that makes their digestion extremely slow
they collect fish and they also collect penguins and seals such aseppard seals.
Baleen Whales eat krill using the Baleen in their mouth.
no only baleen whales eat krill.
Yes, whales eat. They eat krill. Krill- shrimp-small shrimp like things and they live in salt-water. Whales eat alot of krill a day.
Yes, blue whales do eat krill. They eat a lot of it too!
no, krill is a type of fish that whales liketo eat.
Whales.
most whales eat krill because of there thin teeth. but mostly humpback whales.
Most whales like humpback whales, sperm whales, and blue whales eat krill or plankton. Killer whales eat penguins, seals, or turtles.
Humpbacks, like all the filter feeding baleen whales, will happily eat krill when they can get it.
Belugas are toothed whales, they don't deliberately eat things as small as krill.
Your question is mistaken. Blue whales eat krill. Krill are tiny organisms that float about in the water and are kind of like plankton.
