There are a number of ways.
Season with salt and pepper or a dry rub. Try briefly searing all sides, then wrapping them in foil and baking in a 350°F oven for two or more hours. Place the foil wrapped ribs off center a hot charcoal fire. Leave them wrapped until the last 15 minutes. Leave dry at this point or coat with sause (I prefer Johnny Secreto Craft BBQ Sauce or Backyard Classic).
What I do is cook the ribs for about an hour on low heat (about 300 f). I grill the raw ribs for 7 1/2 mins on each side at first to eliminate some of the fat and then cook them for 15 mins on each side - turning them 3 times which totals an hour. Also, remember that gas grills have "hot spots," so you should reposition the ribs from right-to-left and/or back-to-front of the grill when you flip them over. For me the ribs come out fully cooked and tender.
Before you prepare the ribs, check if the thin membrane at the bottom side of the ribs is already taken out beforehand. Rub them using mixture of various seasonings to bring a delicious taste to the ribs. Marinate and refrigerate the baby back ribs for many hours and if possible, try doing it overnight. This will allow the ribs to absorb the flavor of the rub to achieve the maximum taste desired. You can come up with your own dry rub when seasoning the ribs. Start by placing them on the grate and cook for two hours. Keep checking ribs every 30 minutes. Also make sure that the containers have water in them so as to avoid the ribs from drying up. It is not necessary to flip over the ribs since you will be grilling them over indirect heat. However, if you're in doubt that the other side is not cooked, then you can go ahead and flip them over.
First, before you grill, check if the thin membrane at the bottom side of the ribs is already taken out. Rub them with mixture of various seasonings which will give a delicious taste. Marinate first and later refrigerate for few hours. Best is to refrigerate overnight. This will allow the ribs to absorb the flavor of the rub to achieve the maximum taste desired. You can come up with your own dry rub when seasoning the ribs. before you start, heat up the grill. as the grill heats up, you can get ready with the marinated ribs from refrigerator. To grill the ribs, give about 2 hours for them to cook. Keep checking every 30 minutes when cooking. Ensure, that the container has water so that the ribs don't dry up or get burned. You can flip over to cook the other side, but is not recommended since you are grilling over indirect heat.
The nighte before you decide to make your delicious ribs, take them out of the freezer one day prior to cooking. let ribs marinade overnight, of your choice of bbq etc. then season just a bit right before sticking rbs on grill.
First, remove the membrane from the bone side of the rib carefully using a kitchen knife. Then, rub the ribs in your favorite dry rub (any combination of salt, pepper, brown sugar and spices). Let the ribs marinate in the dry rub overnight. Take the ribs out of the fridge about 30 minutes before you plan to cook them, so they'll reach room temperature.
About an hour before you're ready to cook, soak a couple wood chunks in water. Heat your charcoal in a chimney starter, then arrange your grill so that all the coals are one side. Once the coals are hot, add the pre-soaked wood chunks to get a good smoke going.
On the opposite side of the grill from the coals, place your ribs bone-side down. Cook them for 3.5 hours, with the grill covered, adding about 8 new coals every hour or so. Then brush them with the BBQ sauce of your choice and cook about 10 more minutes (you don't want to add the sauce any sooner than that).
Take the ribs off the grill, cut them between the bones, coat them with sauce, and chow down.
Best way to reheat pork or beef is in a conventional oven, at about 275 degrees.
Although there are many places that offer good baby back ribs, some of the best can be found at places like 17th Street Bar & Grill, Charlie Vergos' Rendezvous and Jasper's,
When choosing a BBQ grill there are a few things to keep in mind. If the smoky barbecue taste is most important to you, a charcoal grill would be your best option. But if quick and easy grilling is more your style, a grill that uses propane would better fit your lifestyle. Charcoal grills can take 30 minutes or more to get ready for cooking, while a propane grill simply needs to be turned on.
Certainly you can grill it. It would not be a good idea to try and keep it whole when doing it though. It would be best to cut it up as you would a chicken, and make sure to allow a longer cooking time.
Finding the best BBQ grill and equipment is no easy task. The first step in determining what would work best is deciding on either a charcoal grill or a propane grill. Once the type of grill has been decided on, check with a local hardware store to find out what the employees there recommend. Hardware store employees see grills bought and sold everyday and know which go home for good and which get returned due to issues
I've been told by customer service for Red Stone grills it's to connect to the site of the grill, hang down and touch the ground. It's incase lightning strikes the grill it will be grounded. Makes sense but my grill calls for it to hang down to the ground on the site with the propane tank 2 inches away from it. This of course does not make much sense to me so I will figure out how to hang it off the grill, down to the ground on the opposite side of the propane tank. I assume that would be best...
If you are looking at the best, you will be spending a very large (well over $5k) amount of money. Also, you haven't specified if you are looking for charcoal, propane or natural gas fueled grills. Last, what options are you looking for? Without this information, the right grill can't be determined.
Grillsdirect.com has various smoker grills at amazing prices. they have wood, charcoal, propane, and electric smokers in a variety of sizes and colors
My best placement would be somewhere next to you house were you will not have to walk back and forth from the grill to the house a hundred times to get what you need.
Before getting a new tank for the backyard grill, call some gas suppliers to get propane tank prices. Prices can vary as much as $10 per tank in a community. Refilling an old tank is often cheaper than getting a new tank.
Propane are the best, they throw out a lot of heat
If you are looking to save money and dont mind buying a used item, check your local Craigslist listings. You could also try sites such as Ebay.com and Amazon.com for the best deals.
