if you want xbox credits for arcade games, then go to game marketplace, then look for something that says "get points" or something like that, click on that, and i think it will lead you from that. if you want to join xbox live then just click join xbox live and make your account for a 1 month free trial, if you have account and you want to renew then i would try to go to the my xbox on the dashboard and click your profile then look for something with xbox live, if it isn't on your profile then go to my xbox again and click system settings and click on xbox live
