You could add a comment in the discussion area. Type your main question in, then treat it as if you were going to answer it. There should be a tab marked 'discussion' just above the 'cancel' button to the right of the screen. Post some more info in there - and a message comes on the answer screen to tell people there are comments associated with the question.
WikiAnswers' higher Supervisors are the ones who take in the suggestions and add them, regular members do not add categories or sub-categories.
Most likely you are looking in the wrong Topic (or the question was placed in the wrong Topic). There are over 1,000 topics and sub-topics on WikiAnswers. Try searching for your question using a few of its keywords. A search form is on the right side of this page.

Questions are ALWAYS removed or moved to the 'Catch-All Questions' category or in the sub-categories if the question does not either make sense, offensive, not enough information etc.
If you ask a fun question on wikiAnswers, you must be sure to select the right category for it. Select 'Humor and Amusement Corner', or a sub-category such as 'Jokes and Riddles'. Without that clue, the question may be tossed out with the 'junk' questions. Many children send in useless, silly, half questions just to be annoying or out of boredom. The busy volunteers on WikiAnswers toss them out automatically so they can get back to answering real questions. Don't let that happen to your funny questions. Pick the right category.
