Are there answers for every question you ask?
Yes there will be an answer, provided you have asked a good question with enough information for someone to understand what you are asking. When your question will actually get answered is something else though, some questions already have an answer and it will pop up immediately others may be answered within just a few minutes, some could take much longer but our aim is to answer all the questions eventually.
Why won't anyone answer my question on this website?
There are many reasons a question may not get answered. One of the more common reasons is that the question is incomplete or not enough information was given to answer the question. It may be that no one that has seen the question knows the answer. Or the question could be very close to another question that has already been answered.
How do you report questions that do not have enough information to be answered?
To report a question that does not have enough information to be answered, simply email support @ answers.com. Or you can flag the question as "containing gibberish."

I do not believe it is 'fear' that keeps questions from being answered. I believe that most people don't just sit around reading questions to be answered. I have answered a few that I knew the answer to, while I was searching for answers to the question that *I* have. Did you ask a question that you think no one is brave enough to answer?
