You will need a large cage or, aviary, at least 6 birds 3 males 3 females, you will need to supply a abundant supply of greens, and keep the temperature at 70 degrees Fahrenheit, no lower.
Put plenty of vitamins in the water, and provide nesting boxes.Keep the cage (or aviary) clean, and replace food and water frequently. Provide a bath, and spray the cage, (love birds don't drink water directly from a pool, they normally lick it off of leaves) Also provide pleanty of fruit, (NEVER give them citrus or cabbage)
You put a female and a male budgie in a cage with a breeding box and food and water, close the cage of so they can't get out.
The male gets on the females back and...well you will be able to tell!
Budgie breed by mating
Buy em dinner and candles and hope mr. tweetie's got game?
no, parkeets( budgies) can mate from about 18 months to when ever they go out of heat- the females go out of heat but males can mate their entire life sometimes
It is not likely. They may not even bond. It will take awhile.
budgies and parakeets dont mate they do not need a male to lay an egg so the answer is no season
Yes. Generally, most macaws are monogamous and mate for life. This is why pet macaws tend to form a special bond with one person. If they outlive that person or if they are re-homed to somebody else, they are simply devastated.
Parakeets don't really make nests like finches for example. In wild they nest in holes in trees, and in captivity they need nesting boxed. wild budgies use hollow trees for there nest. Domesticated budgies you have to buy a nest box or they will not mate also if u want to know how to make a nest box goggle it for peace sakes
This question is a matter of opinion. Some people like English budgies better than regular budgies or other people like regular budgies better than English budgies.
for some reason my budgie and my lovebird get along and seem to mate. i don't think budgies and love birds get along.
Birds including budgies do not get 'pregnant' they lay eggs, incubate the eggs which then hatch into chicks.I saw my budgies mate together Dec. 26, 2010. I separated them to another cage, away from my other 3 budgies. I put in their cage 2 nesting boxes. Every day I checked for eggs. Today, Jan. 24, 2011, I found 2 eggs in the corner of their cage, on the floor of the cage. They did not like the nesting boxes I provided. That is about a month gestation.
Yes, budgies are parakeets.
Budgies are parakeets. They eat seed
When the female budgie is approximately 1 year old, the female will have finished deveolping, and will be able to reproduce. You can tell this when the cere turns dark brown. The cere is the bit wehre the bugies nostrils are.
