It depends on the child's body weight. Generally you can calculate 10 to 15 mg per kg body weight of the child.
For example, if your child weighs 30 kg you can give him 300mg to 450 mg of paracetamol which can be repeated every four hours if needed.
But be careful that the dosage does not exceed more than 100 mg per kg body weight in 24 hrs. That is for a 30 kg child you should not exceed a dose of 3000mg in a day.
