first take a empty wine/beer bottle and hit it on something hard then u wait for a stingray to bite your bait then u put the bottle thru the rod then it will hit the singray and it will get cut so if it is still pulling the rod u jerk the rod a bit and the stingray will get cut again then u keep on jerking until it does not pull any more then u pull it up
