How do you change just enough to make a girl happy but not change to much so that she hates you?

If a girl wants you to change, then she is not worth your time. Unless you are doing bad things, then no need for change. Be yourself and try to find somebody else.

You don't need to change at all.

Don't change your habits, your likes, your dislikes, your way of doing things...

All you need to do is listen to her. Be considerate, consider her opinion, be nice, please her.

If you like watching Wrestling matches, and she hates it, do it separately from your relationship, but DONT keep it a secret.

Firstly - we are merely human, and we cannot "make" anyone do or feel anything by our own efforts. Secondly, you're being a bit ambitious in wanting to swing her opinion from hatred to respect - there are oin-between stages which she'll need to go through if she ever does move to respecting you.... indifference, tolerance, friendship for example.

Seeing that you say she hates you I can see only two possible reasons for that,

1. You offended her deeply, somehow
2. She has no reason to hate you and is acting irrationally

In neither case is there anything you can do to win her respect.....

1. All you can do is apologise for whatever might have offended her (bearing in mind that it might not have been anything you said/did to her which inspires this hatred, but something you said/did to someone else.
2. If her hatred is not caused by anything you did or said, then you have almost no chance of changing her opinion.

She'll probably never say these words to you, but think carefully how you might answer if ever she did say "Why should I respect you?"
