Answer : e1505 Putting key back on You'll notice that the peice on the key has a retractable plastic peice, using your thumbnail or a tiny flat screw driver lift that u…p from the bottom of the key, you'll notice on the keyboard (where you'll place the key) you'll have two hooks, hook the key on the only way it will go, then push the back end down to snap in the bottom bracket. give it a couple tries and you should have it back inplace in no time. -Christopher Jazinski Also, if the white plastic hinge piece has dislodged from the key and you do not have another to follow how it is assembled, do the following. The legs of the white plastic hinge piece are placed under the legs of the black plastic hinge piece while the thin horizontal bar of the white piece is held in place behind the provided latch. The legs of the white piece are then spread out as the legs of the black piece are pressed down onto the white legs. The tabs on the white legs snap over the legs of the black piece. -George Doudoukjian

As far as I know: Power down, remove battery, open front 180%, pry open hinge plate, unscrew keyboard, pull out wire "clip", then reverse the process with the new keyboa…rd.
The Dell Inspiron 530 desktop does not have any PS/2 mouse or keyboard ports; both the supplied keyboard and mouse are attached via USB.
The colored lid on the Inspiron 1545 can be replaced with a lid of another color. It's not that hard for someone that knows what they are doing. You have to be able to follow …directions, use common sense and handle tools. But, if you are trying to find a "Switch Lid" or a plastic snap on or slide on accessory, the answer is no (based on my own personal search for my daughter's Inspiron 1545). There's several companies that will sell you a "Skin" which is similar to a sticker which is made to fit your machine perfectly. Of those, probably SKINIT is probably the most reasonable. If you know someone that has worked on a laptop before - perhaps replaced hinges or an LCD panel, that person could surely do it. BEWARE: anytime you fuss with the LCD area, you run the risk of cracking the panel. If you're going to replace the lid, I suggest you replace the hinges, too. It will make the laptop close more securely.
There is no hardware switch on the B130. To turn the radio on and off, press FN + F2.
The Computer doesn't need to know you have a new key Board If It's The Same Manufacturer and model But If It's A different keyboard you need to do the following: REQUIRED:Sof…tware For Keyboard Step 1: Uninstall the keyboard software (If It Came With Software) Step 2: Disconnect Keyboard Step 3: Install Keyboard Software Step 4: Follow Instructions and Insert Keyboard when prompted.
The first thing you should do is remover the power cord and the battery so that your laptop does not have any power going thru it. Remove the power bar strip after you are sur…e that the laptop has no power, and unscrew the two top screws with a Philips screwdriver. Then you are ready to remove your old keyboard. Remove the tab that connects it to the mother board and switch it out with the new keyboard. You can now screw back on the screws you had removed and replace the power strip that was removed. There is also this very helpful video I found online showing you step by step how to do it.

There are many places where a person can purchase a Dell Inspiron B130. Some stores, such as Best Buy, Sears, Office Max and Office Depot all sell the Dell Inspiron B130.
The most convenient place to purchase a new motherboard for the Inspiron B130 would be your nearest computer shop. Amazon and eBay should also stock some.
Of course, there is always the option of buying directly from Dell. However, there are other options. Amazon and other companies sell these on-line.
