OPEN THE REAR HATCH DOOR REMOVE THE 2 BLACK SCREWSHOLDING THE BLACK PLASTIC HOUSING OF THE LAMP ASSEMBLY REMOVE THE HOUSING SWING OUT THE LAMP ASSEMBLY TO EXPOSE THE BACK OF IT TWIST THE BURNED OUT BULB HOLDER REPLACE BULB REINSTALL BUD

Change the blinker bulb for that side. It is a hit and miss though. If you change the front bulbs and it still doesn't blink you will also need to change the rear bulbs. It turned out to be the day time running light modual wich is located behind the radio. the conections were loose. when you turn on the right turn directional the front light would go out but the rear directional would work. listen closley behind the radio for a one click noise when you activate the right turn, and also a delay one click when you deactivate.
