Open liftgate. Beside lamp housing are push pins. Pry them out while holding lamp in place so it won't fall out.

There are bolts under the hood on top of the plastic housing. If you look at the light cover you can see where it connects to the body. Either the bulb twists into the housing and all you have to do is twist it out (to the left or right) or you have to unscrew the housing pull it off and change the bulb then put the housing back on

Lower the tailgate and the screws will be on the bedside. Remove the screws and pull the light bulb housing out. From there you should be able to see how to get the bulb out of the housing.

Change the sensor located on rear-end housing
From outside,take a screws out to get light assembly loose and remove light socket from back of assembly and channge your light bulb,then put it back.
The map light on a 2004 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT is changed gently prying the edge of the cover to reveal the bulb. The bulb can then be popped out and a new bulb installed.
