This is the hardest part in a letter, putting an end. You can start the last paragraph with, "bye for now" or "that's it for now" or "got to go" or "lastly" or "finally" and then add some notes that signal ending the letter, may be well wishes to his/her family and or a future undertaking.
Ending with softness, you can add the "be safe always".
