On serebiinet there is a page on who your rival is for hgss and his Pokemon i noticed that near the end of the page he has more than six Pokemon is this a new feature on hgss?
No. It just shows which Pokemon he will have if you choose one of the starters. No you cant have more then six Pokemon but if you pick a certain stater Pokemon the teams can change.

No, because the data for the new Pokemon isn't in HGSS, so the programmers have to keep all Pokemon from being traded into HGSS. You can import your Pokemon from HGSS to Black and White, though, you just can't trade them back.
