How do you create a Halloween costume to resemble Mystique from the X-Men comic books?

In the Comic Book, Mystique wore a long white gown, gloves, and boots.
My suggestion would be to get a long white tank top dress, and cut the sides of the legs out to make a long loin cloth.
She wears a belt made of skulls, and also has a skull on her forehead. I suggest buying many light fake skulls, and just gluing them onto a white belt. In early issues it showed them as being yellow, but in later they looked more natural (I've also seen them as being shiny gold on a few statues). So color would be up to you.
Wig wise, she has more copper red toned hair than red. It generally goes to her shoulders, and is straight.
In the comics Mystique has no pupils. So when you buy contacts try to go for a solid yellow contact that covers the entire eye.
The rest of the costume would just involve buying long white gloves, thigh high white boots, and a lot of blue body paint.
