You usually eat a goat by first taking its hooves off, as you can soak these in the water and use the juice as gravy. Then you chop the ears off and cook in the oven, these can be used and eaten like crackling on pig. It is then advised that you take the skin of the goat off and rub it all over your body, this way becoming one with the dead goat. You have to cook it on the night of a full moon otherwise the goat spirit will come back to haunt you. After you have dug the hole to cook the goat in, a bit of rosemary is thrown in. Why you ask? Goats like rosemary, and would most likely if given the choice, want to be cooked with it. Then hot coals are thrown in the pit, and finally the goat. The goat then needs to be buried with dirt from a fresh grave site. After these steps, you have to wait until the next blue moon. When this time arrives it is best served with cat or dog meat.
