The method to use depends which type of alien is pursing you.

* For the really big ones, without x-ray or infrared vision, you can just find somewhere small that they would not fit in which to hide, * For the tiny ones it may be best close yourself into a room and put sticking tape over the gaps around doors and windows. If there are any in the room you may need to use some anti-alien spray. Or wear shoes that are easily cleaned.

* For the big gooey ones, go swimming and they will dissolve if they pursue you. * The ones that track you by smell can be confused by using a stinky dog to lay a false trail. All earthlings smell alike to them. Don't do this with a nice dog though. * If it is a super scarey greebly one in a video and you are terrified, use the remote to rewind them out of your life. * Some of the ones with big teeth have a phobia of dentists so run into a dental surgery and pick up the drill and say, "Open wide." * Time machines are only useful if pursued by non technologically advanced aliens who can't follow in their own, and they are usually on their own world minding their own business, so just leave their planet and they'll leave you alone. * If on a wheat/corn farm, driving a combine harvester is a good way to frighten them off; failing that, find a puddle to hide in.
