I am assuming you mean SS benefits rather then spousal maintenance. Such benefits are based upon several things, the length of the marriage (not all ex spouses qualify for benefits) the amount of earnings of the beneficiary, ages of involved parties, etc. Please contact the SSA and/or visit their website for more information.
If the query relates to spousal maintenance that is determined by the court at the dissolution of marriage hearing.
If you were to dry a sequence diagram for withdrawing money from an ATM, you would first draw a human figure holding an ATM card. You would then draw the figure placing the ATM card in the machine. Next would be a drawing of the figure pushing buttons, then taking money, and finally removing the card.

Well it matters if you put it in a 3-dimensional or a 2-dimensional figure because if you turn it into a 3-dimensional figure the the surface would have a flat surface with volume and area.If you draw a quad in 2-D then the figure you draw is the surface.
To draw the corner view of the figure given the orthogonal drawings, you would first identify the lines that represent the edges of the object from the orthogonal views. Then, you would project those lines towards a vanishing point that corresponds to the perspective you want to portray. Finally, you would connect the projected lines to create the corner view of the figure.
