I know on my 97 Ford aspire i was told to fill the manual transmission where the speedometer cable goes in on the top of the transaxle. There is one bolt that holds it down and then it just screws off.
Where do I add transmission fluid to a 1994 Ford explorer with a manual transmission?
I don't know if the 1995 is the same , but the ( 1996 ) Ford Aspire uses Motorcraft MERCON automatic transmission fluid in the manual trans-axle ( manual transmission )
mercon dexron3 atf
Motorcraft Mercon Automatic transmission fluid according to the manual ( For the automatic and the manual transaxle / transmission )
The ( 1996 ) Ford Aspire Owner Guide shows that Motorcraft MERCON automatic transmission fluid is used in the automatic and manual transaxles ( transmissions )
atf dexron mercon 3 is what it calls for.
Dextron withe mercon tranny fluid on manual transmissions.
The manual transmission doesn't have a dipstick , there will be a fill plug on the transmission underneath the vehicle
