∙ 12y agoA tried and tested way is to remove the SIM card and any cables from the device. Then use a cloth to remove any water from the phone and then use a hairdryer to blow out any additional moisture.
A bag of rice has been proven to work to remove any further moisture. Place the phone in the bag and wait for the water to be absorbed by the rice. It should be left for at least 24 hours.
Once dry remove the phone and replace the SIM card and turn on. It should be back to good working order, however, if not your nearest Apple store will be able to advise you further.
